Sailing around the Abacos in style

Often at the Sandy slipper I get asked what do we do, and sometimes there’s so many things we do its hard to say it one mouthful.

But in a snapshot, we connect the dots and take the headache out of planning your amazing getaway.

I recently had a client who was traveling from as far away as Italy and he was looking for something that would make this trip memorable for him and his family.

We both started brainstorming and  after talking to the client and realizing he loved to sail;
we both agreed nothing would be more awesome, than sailing around the Bahamas in your own private boat.

So we began our search of looking for the right boat, that was sleek, beautiful, spacious and within our budget.

The only problem is he wanted to sail around the Bahamas for 5 days, stay at Atlantis for a week and he had a budget.

Was it Mission Impossible.

Not for us, we love the challenges.

Initially we tried to accommodate our client with a vessel booked in Nassau just like the one featured in this

article we did with one of our partners Sea Senor.

But contrary to his budget this one was a little out of range and most of the boats in Nassau were slightly larger than what he was looking for.

So we did something out of the box and had our clients fly directly into one of the lesser known Bahama islands, the beautiful Abacos.

Where we were  able to rent a luxurious  42 foot catamaran with all food included for four guests and hire a personal skipper.

This trip had Awesome written all over it, with a capital A.

As for pricing, we were able to cut  their original boat quote in Nassau in half and for our exceptional planning services, it cost the client $0 additional dollars.
