As 2013 opens up and we knock the dust off all of our old promises and decide to start anew;
this also signals the time for re-starts.
I guess this would be considered a restart, as I haven’t officially crafted an article in roughly 5 months.
My excuses would be, if I were trying to make any:
I took a short break.
It was a creative sabbatical.
My computer got hijacked, by some drunk monkeys.
But none of those things happened.
They say honesty is the best formula for coming clean.
So I’ll be honest; I spiraled into a dark catacomb of writers block, that took me months to crawl out of.
It seems the way life works on social media and the web, is somewhat similar or even more amplified to how it works in the real world.
As in life cycles need to be adhered to, such as: wash, rinse, dry and repeat.
But, some time last year my repeat cycle got broken.
And I couldn’t figure out how to get back on track.
So I did, what any beach lover would do.
I spent countless days on the beach and watched the waves, and I waited until it all made sense again.
It took awhile, but I found my repeat cycle.
Moving forward for 2013 there are some adjustments I’ll be making, as I warm things back up to that good ole rhythm of before.
Where I shared tips on traveling to the Caribbean, great food to enjoy when you got here, thirst quenching watering holes and amazing adventures to take part in.
Every Wednesday I’ll release a brand spanking new article on the Bahamas and you can find me posting breathtaking views on Facebook on Mondays and Fridays.
For those of you, who are new to the blog and really wondering what I’m yammering on about.
Here’s a brief recap of 2012:
As we warm things up for 2013, we’ll be unveiling a new look of the website in a few months and also expanding our coverage of the islands of the Bahamas.
Thank you to everyone who followed the blog, commented on the articles, tweeted, traveled and even shared a brew with me in the Bahamas.
Lets make 2013 more memorable than last year and lets get some sand in our toes.
